Nitish Kumar ‘Sardar Of Palturams”: Prashant Kishor

Commenting on Nitish Kumar’s decision to leave Bihar Grand Alliance and join National Democratic Alliance, political strategist Prashant Kishor called the JDU leader a ‘palturam’ and ‘Sardar of palturams’.

“If you look back at my remarks over the past one year, then you would find out that I was the only person who on camera said that Nitish Kumar can change his side anytime. People already know that Nitish Kumar is a “palturam” and “sardar of palturams”. However, today”s incident has shown that all politicians in Bihar are also “palturam”,” said Prashant Kishor.

Speaking to the reporters, he said that newly formed alliance will not last until 2025 Bihar assembly elections, which potentially means the JD(U)-BJP government would have a life span of a year or less. “The formation that currently exist, in which Nitish Kumar is the face of the NDA and has the BJP”s backing, won”t exist until the (Bihar) assembly elections. I can give you this in writing,” Kishor said.

He further added that, no matter with whom Nitish Kumar contests the next state election — with BJP or RJD if he again makes a flip after the Lok Sabha election, Nitish Kumar”s party will not win more than 20 seats. “And the change will happen within six months of the Lok Sabha elections,” Nitish said to reporters.

Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as the chief minister of Bihar for a record ninth time. The swearing-in ceremony will happen at 5 pm on Sunday, with two Deputy Chief ministers, Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, and six other cabinet ministers taking oath. In 2022, when Nitish Kumar quit the NDA alliance, Prashanth Kishore has predicted that there will be political stability in Bihar. The political strategist at that time has said that Nitish has said that he was starting a new chapter and thus he hope the JDU leader fulfills the aspirations of the people of Bihar.
