BJP’s Bimla Chaudary is leading in Pataudi constituency of Haryana as per the early trends. The election commission data reveals that the BJP candidate Bimla is leading with a vote margin of 10228 votes.
Bimla Chaudary of BJP, Pearl Choudhary of Congress, Pardeep Jatauli of AAP and Amarnath J.E of JJP are the major candidates from the constituency. In the 2019 assembly election, Satya Prakash Jaravata of BJP emerged victorious from this constituency securing a total votes of 60633 votes.
Pataudi has been considered the political fiefdom of sitting MP Rao Inderjith Singh, who has a considerable heft in the constituency due to the presence of around 80,000 Ahir votes in a reserved constituency. There are around 2.35 lakh voters in the Pataudi constituency which is reserved for scheduled caste candidates.
During the 2019 Haryana Assembly election, BJP emerged victorious, bagging 40 of the 90 seats. The BJP formed the government in coalition with Dushyant Chautala-led JJP, which managed to win 10 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress party received 31 seats and the remaining were taken by INLD, Haryana Lokhit Party and independent candidate.
