Rajasthan Assembly Election Result 2023: Congress’ Deepachand Khairiya Defeats BJP’s Ramhet Singh Yadav In Kishangarh Bas

Congress candidate Deepachand Khairiya defeated BJP’s Ramhet Singh in Kishangarh Bas constituency. This is second time Deepachand Khairiya has won the seat in Kishangarh Bas constituency. Deepachand Khairiya garnered 91916 votes while, Ramhet Singh Yadav came second with 81420 votes and BSP candidate Simrat Sandhu came third with 23371 votes. In the 2023 Rajasthan assembly elections, there were total 202089 voters in this constituency.

The Assembly election in Rajasthan was held on November 25th for 200 seats. Kishangarh Bas is constituency in the Alwar district, and its concerns may align with those of rural areas, such as agriculture and basic infrastructure. In 2013 assembly elections, BJP”s Ramhet Singh Yadav had defeated Congress’ Deepa Chand Khairiya was voted 71354 votes and Deepa Chand Khairiya was voted 56538 votes. Independent candidate Dr. Dinesh Yadav came third with 13313 votes. The constituency had 196083 voters then.

In 2018, BSP”s Deepchand defeated Ramhet Singh Yadav as the former polled 73799 votes and the later polled 63883. This time, Dr. Karan Singh Yadav from INC came third with 39033 votes. The total electorate was 230933 in 2018.

Overall, according to the latest reports, out of the total 200 seats, BJP leading with 115 seats and INC is in second with 69 seats. Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. The results of these three states have also been announced today.
