Rajasthan Election Results Live Updates: Congress And BJP Gear Up For Crucial Battle

The 2023 Rajasthan Assembly election witnessed a close battle between the outgoing Congress government and the opposittion BJP. The voting was held in the state on November 25 in a single phase. This Assembly election is also a semi-final for Congress and BJP before the general elections in less than six months. Out of 200 constituencies in Rajasthan, voting took place only in 199 constituencies as the Election Commission adjourned the election in the Karanpur constituency. The BJP is all set to establish a government in Rajasthan, as they won 109 seats and currently leading in 6 seats.

10:05 pm, December 3, 2023: BJP wins 115 seats. All set to form the government

In the Rajasthan election battle, Bharatiya Janata Party won 115 seats in the state. The outgoing Congress government won only 68 seats. Also, Congress is leading in one seat, as per latest Election Commission data. Ashok Gehlot resigned as Rajasthan CM after the BJP registered significant victory.

As per the latest EC data, BJP has won 109 seats and the party is currently leading in 6 seats. On the other hand, Congress won 61 seats and currently leading in 8 seats.

Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje won the Jhalrapatan Assembly seat with a margin of 53,193 votes. While the BJP leader secured 138831 votes, Congress candidate managed to get only 85,638 seats.
