Rajasthan Election Results: Diya Kumari Wins Vidhyadhar Nagar Assembly

The BJP candidate Diya Kumari won the 2023 Rajasthan assembly election by defeating the INC candidate Sitaram Agarwal with a vote margin of 71368. Diya Kumari secured 158516 votes, while Sitaram Agarwal secured 87148 votes. Dr. Sanjay Biyani, the AAP candidate secured only 780 votes.

The result shows that support Vidhyadhar nagar constituency towards Diya Kumari. BJP governance will continue in the constituency as the 2023 election failed to bring any dynamic change.

In 2018, Vidhyadhar Nagar legislative assembly constituency had total of 321653 electors. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Narpat Singh Rajvi won and became the MLA . He secured a total of 95599 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Sitaram Agarwal stood second by securing 64367 votes. He lost by 31232 votes.

In 2013, Vidhyadhar Nagar legislative assembly constituency had total of 275664 electors. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Narpat Singh Rajvi won by securing a total of 107068 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Vikram Singh Shekhawat stood second by securing 69155 votes. He lost by 37913 votes.

In 2008, Vidhyadhar Nagar legislative assembly constituency had total 241549 electors. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Narpat Singh Rajvi won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 64263 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Vikram Singh stood second by securing 55223 votes. He lost by 9040 votes.

Over all, according to the latest report of Rajasthan assembly election, out of total 119 seats BJP won 115 seats while INC secured 69 seats. Along with Rajasthan, the assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya pradesh, Thelangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. The results of these four states are announced today except for Mizoram. The results of Mizoram will be announced on December 4.
