Congress’ Suresh Modi won again the assembly election in Neem Ka Thana constituency of Rajasthan. Congress defeated BJP’s Prem Singh Bajor. Suresh Modi garnered 105,878 votes while Prem Singh Bajor garnered 72,788 votes. Rajesh Kumar, who contested under the banner of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, came third. Ramesh Kumar was polled 5500 votes. Neem Ka Thana faced a tough election in the year 2023.
In 2013 assembly elections, BJP’s Prem Singh Bajor won over the congress’s Ramesh Chand Khandelwal. In this election Prem Singh Bajor polled 69613 votes and Ramesh Chand Khandelwal polled 35411 votes. The total electors were 209,143 and 153,864 voted in 2013.
In 2018, Congress’ Suresh Modi won the election with total of 66287 votes. BJP’s Prem Singh Bajor came to second and RLTP’s Ramesh Kandelwal came to third. BJP got 53672 votes while RLTP got 25620 votes. Neem Ka Thana had total of 247,453 electors in 2018.
Overall, this year, according to the latest report of the election conducted in Rajasthan, out of the total 199 seats BJP is leading with 114 seats. INC is in second position by leading with 68 seats. BAP won 3 seats while independent won 8 seats. Along with Rajasthan, the legislative assembly elections were held in four other states such as Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. The results of these states have been announced today except Mizoram.
