Congress Chief greeted party workers at Hyderabad and as Congress is marching ahead in the election, supporters started celebrating by bursting firecrackers. In Kamareddy constituency, Revanth Reddy is leading with 36673 votes against KCR who has secured only 33338 seats. On the other hand, in Gajwel, KCR is leading with 36697 votes where BJP”s Eatala Rajender is trailing with 24983 votes.
The 119 seats of Telangana Assembly segments went for polls in a single phase on November 30. Telangana witnessed a three-cornered fight between BRS, Congress and BJP. In 2018 Assembly elections, BRS (then Telangana Rashtra Samithi) won 88 of the 119 seats, securing 46. 8 per cent of the vote share while Congress could gather only 19 seats with 28. 4 per cent vote share. In the election BRS is put up candidates in all 119 seats, whereas Congress is fighting in 118 seats and gave one seat to its ally CPI.
