In Uklana, Indian National Congress’ Naresh Selwal won the election. He won the election by defeating Bharatiya Janata Party’s Anoop Dhanak with the margin of 28,092 votes. Indian National Lok Dal’s (INLD) Balraj Singh came in third.
Uklana (SC) assembly constituency is a reserved constituency that lies on Hisar district. The seat is a Scheduled Caste seat, and went to polls on October 5th. This year, the battle is between BJP’s Anoop Dhanak, Indian National Congress’ Naresh Selwal, Aam Aadmi Party’s Narender Khanna, and JJP’s (Jannayak Janata Party) Rohtash.
In the 2019 assembly election, JJP’s Anoop Dhanak won the election with the total of 65,369 votes. He won the election with the margin of 23,693 votes. Anoop Dhanka held the seat previous two times. This year too he is in the fray, but as a BJP candidate.
In 2014, he won the election by competing on the ticket of INLD, and in 2019, he won the election on JJP ticket.
