Actress Rashmika Mandanna, praising the Modi government recently spoke about the newly built Atal Setu, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January this year. The Pushpa actress lauded the work of the NDA government and said that the young India should vote for Vikas and development.
“Aaj Navi Mumbai se Mumbai tak, Goa se Mumbai tak Aur Bangalore se Mumbai tak (From Navi Mumbai to Mumbai, Goa to Mumbai and Bangalore to Mumbai), when all the journeys have been made so easily and with such amazing infrastructure! It makes me proud,” she said.
However, the Animal actress was criticized heavily on social media for batting for Narendra Modi. Her comments, however, did not go well with a number of social media users. Few of them stated that one could not assume that India is moving fast by looking at one bridge.
Some of them even dig up the Income Tax Raid. One of the users wrote, “Rashmika Mandanna suddenly gives an interview to BJP”s mouthpiece ANI and praised the BJP just before elections in Mumbai. She was raided by the Income Tax Department a few years ago. Hope she is safe now “
