Aamir Khan’s next anticipated sequel, Sitaare Zameen Par, with Genelia Deshmukh, directed by RS Prasanna, has intrigued the curiosity of the audience. The anticipated trailer, scheduled to release this week, has now been postponed due to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
The decision to postpone the release was made by the makers as a gesture of respect for the lives lost and the emotions of the people while respecting the nation’s current mood of somberness.

As per recent reports, the trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par is 3 minutes and 29 seconds long and has been passed with a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Sitaare Zameen Par, widely considered a spiritual sequel to the 2007 cult classic Taare Zameen Par, is set to offer a fresh set of characters with completely fresh situations and plots.
Even though the release date of the film was not officially disclosed by the makers, in a recent interview, Aamir Khan candidly revealed that the film is expected to be released on June 20.

As per reports, the upcoming sequel will be exploring the concept of mental health while highlighting the themes of inclusivity. Unlike the prequel, which concentrated on the emotional journey of a young child with dyslexia, the sequel will be following the story of a differently-abled individual.
The film will see Aamir Khan reunite with Taare Zameen Par actor Darsheel Safary alongside Genelia Deshmukh in key roles. Interestingly, the film draws inspiration from the acclaimed 2018 Spanish film Champions.
