Good Bad Ugly star Ajith Kumar has strongly condemned the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the death of at least 26 people on April 22. The star, now in the spotlight for receiving the Padma Bhushan award from President Droupadi Murmu, expressed his heartfelt prayers for the families of the victims and urged people to learn to empathise with one another.
The terror attack that unfolded in the Baisaran Valley of Jammu and Kashmir shook the nation.

Ajith also expressed his hope that such incidents would not recur. Speaking to ANI, the actor emphasised the need for society to cultivate empathy and understanding among one another. “My heart goes out to all the families,” he said.
He further requested that while the government is doing its best, it is crucial for citizens to also play their part in fostering harmony by setting aside their differences.
The Good Bad Ugly actor also paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces who work tirelessly to protect the nation. While appreciating the efforts of the Indian army to safeguard the citizens, the star said that they work very hard so that we can sleep peacefully. The actor appealed that, at least in their honour, the citizens of the country should learn to respect each other and respect every religion and every caste.
Urging the citizens to maintain peace and unity, the actor concluded, “I pray such things don’t happen; I hope we all learn to empathise with one another.”

The attack in Pahalgam occurred on April 22 at Baisaran meadow, where terrorists targeted mostly tourists, killing 25 Indians and one Nepalese citizen while leaving several others injured. It is considered one of the deadliest attacks that occurred in the region since the 2019 Pulwama strike, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel.
