10 Army Personnel Killed, Several Injured As Vehicle Skids Into Gorge In Jammu And Kashmir
Doda, Jammu and Kashmir: At least ten Army personnel were killed and ten others injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda today, January 22.
The incident occurred at the Bhaderwah-Chamba interstate road at Khanni top when the bulletproof army vehicle, a Casspir, was heading for an operation veered off the road and plunged into the gorge.

In a social media post on X, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha expressed pain over the loss of lives calling the incident an unfortunate road accident.
“We will always remember the outstanding service and supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers. My deepest condolences to the grieving families,” the Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor wrote on X, adding that the entire nation stands united with the bereaved families in solidarity and support.

Rescuers and Army helicopters responded quickly in the remote area, airlifting the soldiers, and the injured have been shifted to hospital in Jammu & Kashmir’s Doda.
In this moment of profound sorrow, the entire nation stands united with the bereaved families in solidarity and support. 10 Injured soldiers have been airlifted to the hospital. Directed the Senior officials to ensure best possible treatment. Praying for their speedy recovery.
