LOC: Kargil, war film, written, produced and directed by JP Dutta marked 20 years of its release on Tuesday. The film was based on the Kargil war fought between India and Pakistan in 1999. It featured an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, and Akshaye Khanna, among many others.

Celebrating this occasion, Abhishek Bachchan wrote on social media platform X: “Time flies! Cannot believe it’s been 20 yrs since the release of L.O.C. Such great memories making the film with so many friends. But an even greater honour to be able to tell the stories of our true heroes in the Indian armed forces. Thank you JP sahab for choosing me and giving me the opportunity to be a part in the film.” Besides, he shared couple of photographs from the movie.

Similarly, Ajay Devgn also walked down the memory lane and wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for the scars that serve as a reminder of the battles fought… grateful for the journey, the memories, and the friends I made along the way.” He has also shared the photograph of his character Lieutenant Manoj Kumar Pandey along with series of images from the movie on his Instagram handle.
