Actor Pradeep K. Vijayan Found Dead At His Home In Chennai (Photo @PradeepKVN)
Tamil actor Pradeep K. Vijayan, known for his roles in films such as Thegidi and Meyaadha Maan, was found dead at his residence in Chennai’s Palavakkam on Wednesday evening, police said. The actor was found under suspicious circumstance, and the police have registered a case of unnatural death.
The actor was living alone at his home. He reportedly complained of dizziness and breathlessness. After not responding to calls, the actor’s friends came to his home and knocked on the door. The door of the house was locked. When they got no response, they called the police, and then the cops broke the door, entered the house and found Vijayan dead in his bathroom. According to the report, the actor was lying with injuries to his head and face, and the police suspected that an accidental fall may be the reason for his death.
The 39-year-old actor has worked in Kollywood and Tollywood and his artwork has been released in Tamil and Telugu language movies. Known as Pradeep Nair Pappu, he debuted in Tamil cinema with the 2013 Krishnan Jayaraj-directorial Sonna Puriyathu. He gained prominence in the 2014 Thegidi, playing Poornachandran (Sadagoppan) in the Ashok Selvan and Janani-starrer film.

Some of his notable works among others, inlcudes Rudhran (2023), Teddy (2021), Irumbu Thirai (2018) and Rudhran (2023), Thegidi (2014), Meyaadha Maan (2017).
However, the Neelankarai police have started an investigation into the death, and the body has been sent for postmortem.
