Actress Urmila Matondkar has reportedly filed for divorce with her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir. The couple who tied the knot in 2016 seems to be ending their nearly decade long relationship.
As per the reports, the Rangeela actress has decided to quit her marriage with Mohsin and have already filed for divorce in court. Moreover, the divorce isn’t happening on mutual terms.

Even though the actress has not yet made the announcement publicly, the divorce was confirmed by several news portals through the anonymous source from Mumbai court, where the legal proceedings were initiated.
Urmila and Mohsin had tied the knot back on February 2, 2016 in an intimate ceremony. Their marriage had sent quite the waves as it was an inter faith marriage and the duo has a 10 year age gap. On the work front, Urmila is set to make her comeback with web series titled Tiwari, marking her OTT debut.

For the un versed Mohsin is a businessman and model from Kashmir. The duo first met each other at designer Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding in 2014. As a matter of fact, Manish was among the few public figures present at their intimate nuptials when the duo took the plunge in 2016. Urmila and Mohsin had a paid a visit to Amritsar’s Golden Temple, followed by a Nikah.
Mohsin marked his debut in It’s A Man’s World (2009), moving onto projects like Luck By Chance (2009) Mumbai Mast Kallander (2011) as well as B.A. Pass (2012). He eventually decided to monetize on his business acumen and is now reportedly associated with Manish Malhotra’s label.
