Alia Bhatt Opens Up About Having Attention Deficit Disorder

Actress Alia Bhatt recently revealed that she has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and because of that she can’t even spend over 45 minutes on a make-up chair.

In a conversation with Allure, actress Alia Bhatt revealed her experience with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and how it impacted her on her wedding day. ADD, now referred to as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), is a neurodevelopmental disorder commonly diagnosed in children. ADHD affects the brain’s ability to regulate attention, behavior, and impulse control and can persist into adulthood. Adults with ADHD often experience restlessness and difficulty concentrating.

Expressing her condition the actress said that because of the condition, she needs everything to be done so quickly and she don’t have interest in investing too much time. For her whatever happens, it needs to happen so quickly.

Revealing how that reflected on her wedding day, the actress said “On my wedding day, my makeup artist Puneet (B Saini) was like, Alia, this time you need to give me two hours. I told her, You’ve lost it. Especially on my wedding day, I’m not giving you two hours because I want to chill.”

In the recent days, ADHD has been prevailingly found especially among celebrities as actors like Fahadh Fassil and Shine Tom Chokko has also opened up about their condition and their possible impacts in their day to day life. The Pushpa actor, earlier in June revealed that he was clinically diagnosed with ADHD, which creates an awareness among the audience.

And the Mollywood actor Tom Shine Chokko also revealed that he has ADHD and surprisingly the actor also added how he usually coverts his disorder to excel in his performances and said “ADHD is my best quality.”
