After Mollywood actor Fahadh Fassil shed light on the neurotic condition ADHD, actor Shine Tom Chacko disclosed about being diagnosed with the condition and also admitted the condition as his best quality.

Known for his unconventional on screen presence, actor Shine Tom, in his recent interview with Manorama Online, revealed  “I have ADHD. I’m an ADHD kid”. The actor also shared his symptoms and the diagnosis process over Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The 40-year-old actor expressed attention-seeking as one of his key symptoms. Explaining this, the actor said that someone with ADHD always wants to be noticed and would try to stand out from others. Talkin about ADHD being common in actors, Shine also pointed out that those actors will perform according to the character in order to seek more attention from the audience.

Comparing ADHD with normal attention-seeking intention, the actor pointed out that everyone would seek attention at some point, and with ADHD, this intention would be heightened with the urge to be noticed and to gain attention.

Interestingly, the actor also revealed how he converted it into his strength. Claiming ADHD as his best quality, the actor stated that ADHD has been very beneficial to him. The actor believes that his disorder will be reflected in his performance, which will help him to perform according to the character. He also highlighted that it might not apply to everyone. Earlier, Actor Fahadh Fassil also revealed that he was clinically diagnosed with ADHD at the Peace Valley event.
