Malayalam Actor Shine Tom Chacko Injured, Father Killed In Car-Truck Collision In Tamil Nadu (Photo on X@thandoravoice_)
Salem, Tamil Nadu: Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko suffered an injury while his father, C.P. Chacko, died when a truck rammed into their car on Friday morning. The accident occurred around 6 am near Salem in Tamil Nadu when Shine and his family were reportedly travelling from Ernakulam to Bengaluru.
The actor and his family were going to Bengaluru for medical treatment. Shine’s assistant, mother and brother sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Dharmapuri. Shine’s brother was seated in the front with the driver.

The actor’s father, who lost his life, was seated in the middle row alongside his wife. Although he rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries, which were reportedly critical.
Shine, who was resting in the rear seat during the crash, suffered an injury to his right hand and may require surgery.

However, there is confusion regarding the identity of the driver, whether it was the driver or someone else, as there are unverified reports that another person was present in the car, reported The Times of India.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the road mishap involving the actor’s family.
