Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 Hits Impressive Rs 100 Crore Mark In Advance Bookings
The internet has been buzzing with excitement over the release of the most anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Set to hit more than 12,000 screens, Sukumar’s directorial will be released tomorrow in multiple formats.
Everything about Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2 is impressive. Notably, the presale records have shattered records. The highly anticipated film has already witnessed a staggering number of advance bookings of over Rs 100 crore, breaking its previous records.
According to industry tracking website Sacnik, this sequel has achieved a remarkable feat in advance bookings and has grossed over Rs 30 crore in overseas presales, while domestic sales have exceeded Rs 70 crore, including early premieres on the evening of December 4.

The film is making history in Indian cinema, surpassing the numbers of other pan-Indian releases like KGF 2 and Baahubali 2, which collected Rs 90 crore and Rs 80 crore, respectively, in their pre-release business.
The impressive performance of the film has propelled it to become the second Indian movie of 2024 to surpass Rs 100 crore in worldwide advance booking gross for the first day, following Kalki 2898 AD, the epic sci-fi of Nag Ashwin.
The makers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers, announced the biggest milestone of the film on social media. Taking to Instagram, they wrote, “#Pushpa2TheRule crosses the 100 CRORES mark with advance bookings 💥💥💥 THE BIGGEST INDIAN FILM is on a record breaking spree ❤🔥#RecordsRapaRapAA 🔥🔥.”

Allu Arjun’s previous mega hit, Pushpa: The Rise, opened to approximately Rs 64 crore gross worldwide, including around Rs 53 crore in India. Industry insiders predict that Pushpa 2: The Rule will achieve a record-breaking start in India, with estimates suggesting a Rs 200 crore-plus gross opening.
The sequel continues the story of Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, and is expected to explore his marriage to Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandanna, and his enmity with Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, played by Fahadh Faasil.
