The most anticipated release of this December, Pushpa 2 : The Rule, is now the talk of the town. As the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer heads for a massive release with more than 12,000 screens worldwide, there is an interesting update from the team on its partnership with an innovative app called Cinedubs.

The sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is preparing itself for its grand launch in six languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, and Kannada, on December 5. So, if you are wondering what the Cinedubs app could offer, here is the description of its exciting services.

The Cinedubs app enables viewers to enjoy the film in any of the six available languages, regardless of the version playing in theaters. This ensures a seamless multilingual experience, broadening the film’s accessibility to a global audience.

As reports, the Kannada and Tamil versions will most definitely be available in Bengaluru, along with the Telugu original; however, the Malayalam and Bengali dubs may not be. The app comes as a solution, as this technology will enable viewers to enjoy movies in the language of their choice.

So how does it work? All that is needed is to download the application and then select the movie hall, show timing, and language, which the audience wants to see the film in. The big question, though, is, will it really work?

Over two years ago, Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona was supposed to make the most of this technology. However, when OTTplay checked if it actually works during an early morning show, it failed to recognise the multiplex and, therefore, did not work. Moreover, given the audio levels in a cinema theatre, even with noise-cancelling headphones, a smooth, seamless watching experience with Cinedubs may not be possible.

The soon-to-be blockbuster Pushpa sequel, which is one of the most expensive films ever made in India, is now also one of the longest films in the country with a runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes.

The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as leads, along with Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Dhananjaya, Tarak Ponnappa, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapati Babu, Rao Ramesh, Anusuya Bharadwaj, and others in key roles.
