Amitabh Bachan Turns 81 TodayThe “Big B” of B – town has turned 81 today. As Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his birthday today, Bollywood rushed to wish the superstar. The “legendary actor” met with his fans and received hugs from wife Jaya Bachan and grand kids, Navya Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aradhya Bachchan.
Videos circulate through social media showing the Sholay starrer waving happily to his fans who were gathered outside Jalsa, his home. The videos also show “beauty queen” Aishwarya Rai joining her father-in-law along with her daughter Aradhya Bachchan to bask in the love showered upon the superstar by his fans.
Taking to social media, family his grand childrens poured in love for their “nana” (grand father). Navya Nanda shared a happy family picture of the grand parents and grandchildren sharing loving hug. She also shared a black and white picture of herself with Mr. Bachchan taken from low angle.
The “Shahenshah” has carved out himself a legendary path in Bollywood and set the bar high with his marvelous acting skills. Acing the big screen like a true “Shahenshah” with his goosebumps rising baritone, Bollywood’s “Munna” is loved by millions.
The Piku actor was wished by many including Ajay Devgn and Vicky Kaushal. Ajay Devgn penned down that working MR. Bachchan was as “fun as it looks”. Vicky Kaushal has shared his picture with the “one and only” as his Instagram story.

Mr. Bachchan has garnered several accolades ranging from Padma Shri to Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The government of India has awarded him with Padma Shri in 1984, with Padma Bhushan in 2001, Padma Vibhushan in 2015 and Dadasaheb Phalke award, the highest award in India in Cinema field, in 2018.
The “Big-B” is said to be sharing screen with Deepika Padukon and Prabhas in Nag Ashwin’s movie, Kalki 2898 AD and in a Ribhu Dasgupta movie named Section 84.
