Apoorva Mukhija’s Ex-Boyfriend Utsav Dahiya Alleges Cheating, Bullying In Viral Post
Social media creator Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, has once again found herself at the centre of controversy. Her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, recently took to Instagram with a strong-worded post and a self-sung track, where he indirectly accused her of cheating, bullying, and fabricating narratives for online attention.
Without taking her name directly, Utsav shared a video of a song in which he spoke about betrayal and false accusations. In the caption accompanying the video, he made it clear that he was addressing recent events in which he felt wrongly portrayed.

In his post, Utsav wrote: “Ab agar koi aur bakwaas kari toh main seedha receipts nikalunga. Never try to gain sympathy by fabricating lies or pushing false narratives just to make content and assassinate someone’s character online. Having a big following doesn’t give you the right to bully your way by rage-baiting your audience and unleashing them on others.”

He further claimed that after being labelled a “cheat and abuser” because of statements made online, he had reached out to her and her agency in an attempt to resolve the backlash.
“When I was being falsely painted as a cheat and an abuser because of things you said, I reached out to you and your agency, hoping to find a way to deal with the hate. Instead, I was told, ‘You’re a nobody, you should be happy you got to date her.’”
Utsav ended the post with a sharp remark, stating that despite the difficulties, he continues to stand strong: “So here’s a message from that ‘nobody’: you tried your level best (and I won’t lie, it wasn’t easy), but I’m still here, still standing. That should tell you something: your big numbers only matter on an app. There’s a real and much bigger world outside – beyond lies and kalesh.
For context, Apoorva Mukhija and Utsav Dahiya had publicly announced their breakup in January 2025. Following the split, Apoorva, without taking names, had shared multiple posts hinting at being cheated on and mistreated. While she never identified Utsav directly, her audience widely speculated about the references.
This is not the first time Apoorva Mukhija has been caught in controversy. Earlier this year, she faced criticism during her appearance on the reality show India’s Got Latent alongside podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia.
Ranveer’s remark on the show — “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” — triggered widespread outrage, with multiple police complaints filed against him. Apoorva, who was also on the panel, received backlash and revealed later that she had to move out of her Mumbai house due to the negative attention.
While Utsav’s latest remarks do not mention Apoorva by name, the timing and the context strongly indicate a response to the past allegations made against him. His post has sparked fresh debate online, with followers of both creators weighing in on the matter. At the time of writing, Apoorva Mukhija has not issued any response to Utsav’s claims.
