In her post, Chinmayi shared that she was sent a fake, digitally altered nude image, which she publicly posted to show how far online harassment has gone.
She said that the real issue is not just whether legal action will be taken, but that women should know these things happen and should not feel scared or ashamed.
Chinmayi revealed that her family has been targeted ever since her husband, actor-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, made a comment about the mangalsutra recently.

According to her, paid trolls and organised groups have been attacking her online, and the trolling has become more aggressive. She said people have made shocking statements about her children, even wishing harm upon them.
In her video, she mentioned how some individuals on Twitter Spaces (X) openly said that women they dislike should never have children, and if they do, those children should die. Chinmayi added that some men even laughed and applauded these remarks.
The singer also connected this wave of abuse to her earlier experiences. Ever since she named her abuser during the MeToo movement, she says she has been a constant target of hatred and trolling.
She explained that people continue to attack her because she dared to speak up, and many of those involved are backed by political groups or paid networks.
Talking about the rise of deepfakes and AI-generated images, Chinmayi warned that such forms of harassment will sadly become more common.
She urged women, girls, and parents to take legal action immediately if they face similar situations. She made it clear that she is not someone who will be shamed or silenced, and she chose to speak up so that more women feel confident to protect themselves.
