'Citadel: Honey Bunny' Teaser: Varun-Samantha's Spy Thriller Is Action-Packed (Image-X/BabyJohnOnWar2)
The cryptic puzzle with the bunny hints of Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is here. The makers of Citadel: Honey Bunny dropped the teaser yesterday. With intriguing action sneak peeks, the teaser introduces the newest spies in the town.
The Bollywood actor, on Saturday, wrote “Expecting good news 01.08,” which sent fans into a frenzy making wild guesses. The “good news” has finally arrived with the teaser of the upcoming spy thriller starring Samantha and Varun in lead roles.

Sharing the teaser of the series produced by none other than the Russo Brothers and created by the much acclaimed duo Raj and DK, known for creating Prime hits such as Farzi and The Family Man. Prime Video posted on Instagram with the caption, “All eyes on our newest spies!!”

Even though the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the plot, it promises to be an intense action flick. Introducing the leads Varun and Samantha, the teaser hints at a story revolving around a little girl. The teaser focuses on the intense actions with a cat-and-mouse like chase, the clicking noises of bullets, and suspicious acts of the main characters.
Speaking of her role in the series, Samantha said, “I never would have imagined that I would do action. But today, for me, being at this event is already such a victory, because, at the last moment, I didn’t think I could do it. I didn’t think I would be a part of Citadel. I’m extremely grateful to Raj, DK, Sita, and Amazon for really coming to my rescue. I just had to prep physically. I am just so incredibly proud already that this is the way it is, this is the way it looks. I can’t believe – this is how it looks.”

Slated for November 7 release, this Amazon Prime spy thriller is the adapted version of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s series. In addition to Varun and Samantha, the series will also star Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles.
