Sona, the former restaurant of actor Priyanka Chopra will discontinue their service with a final brunch on June 30 2024. The restaurant’s scrumptious menu of Indian cuisine giving a modern touch to the dishes has already gained momentum in New York City. It was announced after a year Priyanka Chopra withdrew her partnership from the ownership of the restaurant.

The inauguration befell three years back accompanying a puja ceremony witnessing Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas at the venue. Celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Anupam Kher, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were often seen there relishing food at the hotel. After three years of service, the restaurant has now come up with a note that they are ending the chapter, closing the doors of the restaurant forever. They have also extended gratitude to their customer saying ” We have immense gratitude for everyone who walked through our doors. It’s been our greatest honour to serve you.”

The hotel was co-partnered by Priyanka and Maneesh Goyal, she had shared snippets of this beautiful restaurant filming plated meals, luscious food options and unique combinations like vodka pani puri and tequila gol kappe. There were several Indian dishes including Kerala roast chicken and pumpkin kofta.

The restaurant owners have not disclosed the reason for its sudden kibosh. It was said that the co-founder Priyanka ended her partnership on account of a breach happened between Maneesh. At that time the restaurant stated that her fingerprints would always remain there and she would be regarded as a creative partner despite her withdrawal from the business side.

They have posted on Instagram that the restaurant would function till the end of the month offering a 50% cut on all wines and champagne until June 30. The customers are informed to use their coupon cards before the due as it is valid till the closing day.
