
Samantha's Horror Comedy Production 'Subham' Hits Theaters Today
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s maiden production, Subham made its theatrical debut today, May 9. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the horror comedy entertainer is all set to explore the impacts of daily soap operas through a hilarious horror narrative.
Produced by Samantha’s Tralala Moving Pictures, Subham brings a bunch of young actors, like Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi and Vamshidhar Goud, among others.
Written by Vasanth Mariganti, Subham revolves around three husbands and their wives possessed with serial ghosts. Set in a small town, the film explores the contrasting mentalities of a husband and wife who are addicted to daily soaps in general.

The narrative, loaded with diverse elements of humour, intends to highlight the toxic and regressive nature of TV serials. Doubling the excitement, Samantha also makes a special cameo in the film. Her character is expected to resolve the twisted nature of the storyline.
Prior to the release, Samantha, the producer of the film, also made a hilarious promotional video with actor Kishore about the premiere of her film.

With back-to-back teasers and short promotional clips, Samantha, along with the team, have been extensively promoting the film. The hook step of the song Janma Janmala Bandham has created enough buzz on social media, with many recreating the iconic step. With music composed by Shor Police and the background score by Vivek Sagar, the film also offers some vibrant songs for fans to enjoy.
