Amidst various speculations over the role of actress Manju Warrier in Rajinikanth‘s upcoming action drama Vettaiyan, the actress has revealed a sneak peek over the film’s production.
The renowned actress, in her recent interview, dropped some exciting information that made heads turn as she talked about her much-awaited film with legendary actor Rajinikanth.

The Viduthalai Part 2 actress on expressing her excitement said, “This is my first time with Rajini sir, and with Gnanavel sir who made Jai Bhim; so that’s a pretty powerful combination, and it will be a ‘Rajinikanth film’. I have a pretty interesting character in the film as Rajini sir’s wife.”
Further, the actress also shared the development of the project and revealed that the post-production work is underway and they recently wrapped up shooting. Moreover, Manju has yet to start her dubbing of the film. The film will feature an exceptional cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles.

Written and directed by T.J. Gnanavel and produced by A. Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, Vettayan will mark the 170th film of Superstar, and the music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Slated for a September release, the film is expected to be different from other Rajinikanth films as the actor Rana Daggubati hinted that the film is very different from typical Rajinikanth films and has much more to offer. In Vettaiyan Rajinikanth plays the role of of retired police officer who sets out to uncover a dark mystery.
Apart from Vettaiyan, the actress also has two other films on her lane, and her upcoming release Footage has been postponed due to torrential rains in various parts of Kerela. The Malayalam movie is directed by Saiju Sreedharan. Besides Manju Warrier, the film has Visakh Nair, and Gayathri Ashok in the lead roles. Moreover, the actress also has another film with the versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi in Viduthalai Part 2, directed by Vetrimaaran.
