Atlee Planning His Next Big Project With Salman Khan And Rajinikanth?

Just when you thought the biggest collaboration in Bollywood was bringing Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in Tiger Vs. Pathaan, acclaimed director Atlee is preparing to bring a bigger combination for fans. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the director is working to bring Salman Khan and none other than ‘Thalaivar’ Rajinikanth himself.

While there were reports of Atlee and Salman collaborating on a project, the new update suggests that the legendary superstar is expected to get on board for the untitled project. As per Bollywood Hungama, the film will be produced by Sun Pictures, which shares a close bond with the Jailer actor.

Both Salman and the Jawaan director have been in touch with each other for over two years, reportedly. The report also suggests that the goal is for the film to hit theatres by the end of the year.

Salman is currently shooting for the A. R. Murugadoss directorial Sikandar, which is slated for release on Eid next year. It is reported that the actor will start working on the Atlee project after wrapping up the former. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is expected to finish his upcoming Coolie and then expected to join the Atlee project.

While Salman and Rajinikanth have not met each other for the same reason, the meeting is reportedly expected to happen next month.

It was earlier reported that the film was first discussed with Pushpa star Allu Arjun; however, the project fell through over creative differences between the two.

If both actors come on board, then the pan-India film will break all records, giving Atlee another feather to add to his cap after the blockbuster hit with King Khan himself.
