The couple, who were married in 2004, announced their separation in January 2022 after 18 years of marriage. The divorce was formally finalized in November 2024. Since then, they have continued to co-parent amicably, with both parents frequently sharing glimpses of their children on social media.

Professionally, both continue to thrive. Dhanush is gearing up for the release of Kuberaa, a much-anticipated film directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It is scheduled for release on June 20, 2025.

In a major announcement at the Cannes Fim Festival, it was revealed that Dhanush will portray former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in an upcoming biopic directed by Om Raut.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, continues her work in cinema and social initiatives, often using her platform to discuss parenting, creativity, and women’s empowerment.
