Dhanush And Aishwarya Rajinikanth File Divorce Two Years After Announcing Separation (image@aishwaryarajini)
Tamil super star Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth initiated divorce proceedings. The pair, who announced their separation nearly two years ago, filed for divorce at the Chennai family court by mutual consent under Section 13B. They have been living separately for the past two years.
At the same time, the former couple’s manager said the pair have not said anything yet on this development. Dhanush and Aishwarya were seen together at their sons Yatra and Linga’s school events following the announcement of their separation.
After 18 years of marriage, the pair announced their separation on January 17, 2022. In s statement released, the former expressed their gratitude for the time spent together and acknowledged their decision to part ways for individual growth. The statement read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting”.

Dhanush remained occupied with his work as an actor and his second directorial venture, Rayaan. The star was last seen in Captain Miller. Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth made her directorial comeback with the film Lal Salaam this year. The film featured Rajanikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth.
