
Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films To Release Nani's 'HIT 3' In Kerala On May 1st
Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films will be bringing the much-anticipated Telugu action thriller ‘HIT 3’ to theatres across Kerala. The film, starring Telugu superstar Nani in the lead role, is set for a global release on May 1, 2025.
Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, ‘HIT 3’ marks the third instalment in the highly successful HIT franchise, following the critical and commercial acclaim of HIT and HIT 2.
The film is jointly produced by Wall Poster Cinema and Nani’s own production house, Wall Poster Unanimous Productions, with Prashanthi Tipirneni also on board as a producer.
The trailer, which was unveiled on April 14, hints at a massive, high-octane police action thriller unlike anything seen in Indian cinema recently.
Nani plays Arjun Sarkar, a fierce and intense police officer entangled in a chilling serial murder case that rattles the entire police force.
The character is being touted as one of the most violent and powerful avatars the actor has portrayed in his career, making ‘HIT 3’ one of the most hyped releases of 2025.

The film’s narrative is expected to be darker and more intense than its predecessors, and Nani’s transformation for the role has already created waves among fans. The female lead is played by Sreenidhi Shetty.
Director Sailesh Kolanu has assembled a top-tier technical crew to bring the intense storyline to life on the big screen. HIT 3 will release simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Sanu John Varghese, known for his visually gripping style. Music is composed by Mickey J Meyer, while Karthika Srinivas R is the editor. The production design is managed by Sri Nagendra Tangala, and Shailesh Kolanu himself has penned the script.

The executive producer of the film is S Venkataratnam (Venkat). Sound mixing is done by Suren G, with Abhilash Mandadpu as the line producer and Venkat Madirala as the chief co-director.
The costumes are designed by Nani Kamarusu, and Sync Cinema is responsible for SFX. The VFX supervision is handled by VFX DTM, while the Digital Intermediate (DI) is managed by B2H Studios, with S. Raghunath Varma as the colourist. First Show is managing the film’s marketing, and Sabari is the PRO.
