The long-wait is finally over for all Vijay fans across the world. Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited ‘Leo’ is released in theaters today, October 19. Fans thronged theaters to watch their favourite star on the big screen.

Theatre”s were completely packed with fans in the morning shows to catch a glimpse of his latest flick. Many came into theaters on 4am to watch Lokesh Kanagaraj’s magic. Videos of fans celebrating inside the theaters dancing, cheering and even bursting crackers are viral on social media. Many celebrated the First Day First Show by cutting the cake.

Fans were seen outside the theaters of Kerala, Bengaluru lined up early in the morning to catch seats in the first show. The excitement around Leo’s release promises to make and break several records in the coming days. After an uncontrollable crowd appeared at the Rohini theaters in Chennai during the movie”s trailer release, police deployment has been stepped up in the theaters ahead of the first show. The theater is considered as the fort of Thalapathy Vijay, says India Today.

Today after the movie release, the long-awaited question whether ‘Leo’ is part of LCU world is finally answered. Lokesh has created a cinematic universe trend by bringing in stars across his movies ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’. And now he has added ‘Leo’ into the list. He made a surprise addition linking Vijay starrer with his universe.

Leo is an action thriller movie written by much celebrated director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The screenplay is co-written by Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. Produced by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and co-produced by Jagdish Palaniswami, Leo has an impressive start cast of Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and Sandy.

‘Leo’ is released in multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. It is the second movie of Vijay collaborating with Lokesh after Master.
