GV Prakash Reveals Dhanush's Reaction On 'Good Bad Ugly' Songs

With every ticking of the clock, the time to witness the high-octane entertainer, Good Bad Ugly of Ajith Kumar, is nearing. Celebrating the film’s arrival at the theatres, currently social media is screaming AK, creating significant buzz on the internet. Amidst all the promotional elements, the songs composed by music director GV Prakash have also been creating waves among the fans.

Along with the firmly packed trailer, the vibrant songs of the film, like God Bless U, and OG Sambavam, have been echoing all over the internet, especially among the die-hard fans of Ajith and GV Prakash. But do you know the interesting story behind the composition of the songs?

Music director GV Prakash, in a recent film event, shared his insights on how the pulsating songs of GBU came to life. Unlike GV’s usual composition, the song OG Sambavam was specifically crafted to complement the respective visuals. GV revealed that he composed the music only after seeing the grand visuals, which gave creative inspiration for him to deliver something powerful and unique.

GV Prakash’s memorable reunion

Director Adhik and GV have collaborated for the second time since Adhik made his directorial debut with GV in Thrisha Illana Nayanthara. Notably, through GBU, GV Prakash is also reuniting with actor Ajith Kumar for the second time after 18 years. The actor-composer GV Prakash composed the songs of Ajith’s 2007-released action thriller Kireedam.

The actor-composer also shared that Dhanush personally called him and complimented GV for his compositions and said, “Superb.”  The composer added that many other celebrities reached out to him with similar compliments.

Good Bad Ugly songs

As of now, the makers have released 2 songs, God Bless U and OG Sambavam, which have been trending on social media. With lyrics written by Vishnu Edavan, OG Sambavam was sung by GV Prakash and director Adhik. While Rokesh wrote the lyrics of God Bless You, the vocals for this song were offered by Anirudh Ravichander and Paal Dabba.
