Ajith Kumar Escapes Unhurt In Netherland's GT4 Race Accident
Actor Ajith Kumar, who is currently participating in the GT4 European Series car race in the Netherlands, was involved in a minor accident during the race. The incident reportedly occurred due to a tire burst on the car that he was driving.
The Good Bad Ugly actor, who recently received his Padma Bhushan award for his achievements in Indian cinema, is currently focusing on his passion for motorsport. On May 18, during the second round of the race, Ajith’s car reportedly lost control and crashed. Fortunately, the actor escaped unhurt and is in good health.

A video of the actor’s damaged car has been widely circulated on social media, raising concern among fans.
In the GT4 European series, the actor is representing the Porsche team. The series is being held in two phases, with the race kicking off on May 17. The second round of the competition began on May 18 at 3:40 PM IST.

Ajith Kumar is well known for balancing both his passion and profession. The actor, who delivered a blockbuster hit with his nostalgic action entertainer, GBU, is setting tracks towards his next.
In a recent interaction with the media, the actor announced that he will be starting his new project in November this year. The next film will be released sometime around the summer of 2026.
The actor is currently focusing on the European series (March to October) and Dubai series (January) of the motor sport. About his plans to maintain the balance between his passion and profession, Ajith said that if he could squeeze in a film between the period of November and February, he would have a film release every year.

On the work front, Ajith Kumar was last seen playing the lead in Good Bad Ugly, which hit theatres on April 10, 2025. The film was both written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
