Housefull 5 Trailer: Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish's Film Offers Chaos, Comedy And A Killer Twist
The trailer of Housefull 5, the fifth installment of the comedy franchise, was dropped today, May 27. Headlined by Akshay Kumar, with supporting roles played by Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, the film combines comedy, mystery and horror, promising a wholesome entertainer.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the fifth instalment is packed with a star-studded cast that features Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangada Singh, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey and Ranjeet.
Much like the previous blockbusters, the upcoming sequel also promises a wild ride filled with humour and suspense. The sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on June 6. As per the trailer, the film takes us through a chaotic cruise ride filled with thrills and a murder mystery.

The trailer opens with a voiceover introducing a billionaire’s aka Ranjith’s 100th birthday celebration on a luxurious yacht and his plans to offer his inheritance to his son Jolly. And things go wild as Akshay, Abhishek and Ritiesh claim to be Jolly.
The trailer is a non-stop ride of misadventures, culminating in a wild night where something gets slipped into their drinks, leaving them with no memory of what transpired.
The clip also reveals a murder mystery as the billionaire is murdered, with the three becoming suspects. The trailer then introduces Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff as the cop duo, bringing their signature wit and charm to the investigation.
The trailer ends with a glimpse of the kind of humour that fans can expect, which includes Jackie Shroff making jokes at the expense of his son, Tiger, and Akshay getting slapped by a couple of monkeys, a callback to the hilarious scene in Housefull.

The comedy thriller film is co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under the production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film’s soundtrack features music by Yo Yo Honey Singh, White Noise Collectives, Tanishk Bagchi, and Kratex, while the background score is composed by Julius Packiam.
