Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is ecstatic over the success of his latest movie, Tiger 3. The movie entered Rs 100 crore club in two days and marks the record box office opening for Tiger franchise. Within three days of its release, the film has collected over 148.50 crore in domestic market and grossed 240 crore worldwide. Apart from Mr Khan, the movie features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles.

Mr Khan said in a statement: “I’m delighted with the response from audience and fans for Tiger 3! They have given the film a brilliant start and I’m happy that the third part of this franchise is also scripting a success story.”

“Tiger is a franchise that is close to my heart. So, to see it get more and more love film after film is really special,” he continues.

Adding further, Mr Khan said: “I hope the film continues to entertain audiences worldwide.” The movie also delivered greatest opening weekend in Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif”s career.

Two days before, Mr Khan expressed worry over the reports of his fans bursting firecrackers inside theatres where Tiger 3 was performing; on social media platform X, he wrote: “I’m hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.”

Tiger 3 is helmed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie also marks fifth installment in the much celebrated YRF spy universe, in which earlier ones are Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Ha, War, and Pathaan.

Tiger 3’s music is composed by Pritam. The movie released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
