The highly anticipated fourth installment of the acclaimed franchise Dhoom is on its way to greet the audience with surprises. As the film has kicked off with pre-production, social media is buzzing around the presence of actor Suriya featuring in the upcoming franchise. Will Suriya be the antagonist of Dhoom 4? Here is the truth.

Since this morning, social media has been speculating over Kollywood star Suriya coming aboard Dhoom 4 as the antagonist of the fourth installment. Rumors spread fast among fans and the excitement doubled. Speculations of negotiations being underway further fueled the fire as many expected an official announcement to be made soon.

But folks, unfortunately, as per a Pinkvilla report, the information is not true and actor Suriya will not be the antagonist in the upcoming sequel. The actor is currently busy with his other projects including the much anticipated Suriya 44.

For the unversed, John Abraham, Aamir Khan, and Hrithik Roshan played the villain in the earlier installments of Dhoom. It is yet to be announced who will portray the character of the villain in Dhoom 4.

Meanwhile, the Dhoom franchise recently completed 20 years.  The makers were thrilled to announce the same with a celebratory post, a video highlighting all the key and iconic sequences from the franchise.

On the work front, actor Suriya has been gearing up with his upcoming release Kanguva. Slated for an October release initially, the movie was later postponed to November to avoid its clash with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan.
