Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor shared her frightening experience of being hospitalised due to food poisoning. The actress who took a compulsory break for health reasons shared her health setback and the importance of prioritizing yourself over work.
Jahnvi, who is on her fast-phased promotional activities for her upcoming release Ulajh, was recently suffered from a digestive immune disorder and admitted to South Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital last Thursday, July 18. Being discharged the actress is back to work on July 23, where the actress has a handful of projects. In her recent interview, the actress shared her frightening experience over her first hospitalization.
In an interview with Times Now, Janhvi revealed it was her first time being hospitalized, which left her feeling paralyzed and exhausted. She recounted, “I went to Chennai for half a day and ate something funky. Initially, we thought it was a stomach bug, but my blood tests were everywhere. I felt body ache, weakness, shivering, and shaking.”

On revealing the reason, the actress pointed out her back-to-back work schedule due to her commitments to the projects without proper rest, the actress said “Since before the promotions of Mr&Mrs Mahi, I haven’t had a break. I have been traveling, shot three songs, and am rehearsing for the fourth song now. I have done this within a month and a lot of crazy travel”

Janhvi described her hospital stay as scary, with high liver enzymes alarming the doctors. “I wasn’t able to go to the restroom on my own. I wasn’t in any condition to speak, walk, or even eat,” she said. She admitted being concerned about looking fit for a song and meeting deadlines, which added to her stress.

And with her overall experience, the actress also stressed the point “It just taught me that all these other things are great but, you need to respect your body and all of these things that you derive your vanity from. And you need to listen to your body.”
Despite this setback, Janhvi is gearing up for her upcoming films Ulajh and Karna.
Ulajh follows a young IFS officer entangled in a dangerous conspiracy, featuring stars like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain.
Janhvi will also appear in Karna, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Suriya.
