Actress Janhvi Kapoor has been a sensation on the internet since her extraordinary Cannes debut recently. She made headlines for the premiere of her film Homebound, and now she’s making heads turn with her recent first look of Param Sundari with Siddharth Malhotra.
From the prestigious Cannes appearance to the recent update on Param Sundari, here are some interesting updates on Janhvi’s upcoming projects.
Janhvi Kapoor’s made quite an impact among the audience with the premiere of her film Homebound. The Neeraj Ghaywan film created history by being selected in the ‘Un Certain Regard’ section of the film festival, marking India’s sole representation in this esteemed category. This is an exquisite red carpet look in the delicate blush pink Tarun Tahiliani outfit that drove the whole internet crazy.
Backed by the renowned Martin Scorsese, the film features an ensemble cast including Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film was written by Neeraj and Sumit Roy.

Homebound received a 9-minute standing ovation from the audience as an honor to the message that the film delivered. This is another impactful fashion statement of the actress made at the Cannes Film Festival. She aced her look in a pistachio green and gold gown by Anamika Khanna.
Homebound is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. The co-producers include Marijke de Souza and Melita Toscan Du Plantier. Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese has turned executive producer for the film.
According to reports, Janhvi Kapoor will be joining Tiger Shroff for Raj Mehta’s next film titled Lag Jaaa Gale, produced by Karan Johar.
On the other hand, the actress also made heads turn with the recent first look from her upcoming entertainer, Param Sundari. In the Tushar Jalota film, Janhvi will be sharing the screen with Siddharth Malhotra for the first time.
The first look teaser of the upcoming romantic comedy film was unveiled by the makers today. Param Sundari tells the romantic love story where the North meets the South, and chaos ensues. Set against the picturesque landscape of Kerala, the teaser begins with a close-up shot of a bare-bodied Siddharth, aka Param, flaunting his toned abs. In contrast, Janhvi comes as Sundari in a traditional saree.
Notably, this is the first time both Janhvi and Siddharth are sharing the screen space together. Produced by Maddock films, the upcoming entertainer will hit the big screens on July 25, 2025.
Apart from Jahnvi and Sidharth, Param Sundari also stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles in a chaotic romance filled with twists and turns. This look is another notable one from her Cannes album, a black gown from Yves Saint Laurent’s Rive Gauche 1975 collection.
