Joju George As Antony: Joshiy’s New Movie Teaser Is Out (image:instagram/jojugeorgeactorofficial)
The makers of Porinju Mariam Jose are yet again uniting for the film, Antony. Helmed by veteran director, Joshiy, the movie’s official teaser released on Wednesday. Spanning for 1:48 minutes teaser gives a glimpse into the world of Antony, and to the characters in the film. The titular character played by Mr George appears in raw, intense and graceful avatars in the teaser.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Joju George, Chemban Vinod Jose, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Nyla Usha. Apart from them, Asha Sharath, Vijayaraghavan, Appani Sarath, RJ Shaan, and Sijoy Varghese appear in significant roles. Through Antony, Ms Priyadarshan marks her debut association with the director. In the teaser, Kalyani is seen as a professional boxer with an intense look.
Sharing the first look poster, Ms Priyadarshan wrote on Instagram: “This is a film that has pushed me physically to beyond what I believed were my limits.”

Suresh Gopi starrer Paappan was Joshiy’s last film. Joju George, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Nyala Usha previously worked together for Joshiy’s movie Porinju Mariam Jose in 2019 and it was successful.
The screenplay for Antony is written by Rajesh Varma. The movie is produced by Einstin Zac Paul and co-produced by Sushil Kumar Agrawal, Rajat Agrawal, Nitin Kumar, Gokul Varma and Krishnaraj Rajan under the banners Einstin Media, Nextel Studios and Ultra Media Entertainments. The cinematography is handled by Renadive, and music is scored by Jakes Bejoy.
The movie is set to release in theatres on November 23 and is available in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
