Kangana Ranaut's 'Tejas' Confirms Release Date, Teaser Out (Image: screengrab from the trailer)

Kangana Ranaut looks fierce in the Air Force pilot uniform and is ready to take off with her highly anticipated Tejas soon. The movie, an air action film, is set to hit theatres from October 27, 2023.

According to the makers of the movie, Tejas features the story of a female Indian Armed Force (IAF) officer – Tejas Gill (played by Kangana Ranaut) –  who’s determined to safeguard the nation at all costs.

Official teaser is now released by the RSVP movies on Gandhi Jayanthi through their social media handles. They will disclose the trailer on October 8, paying tribute to Indian Air Force officials on the Indian Air Force Day.

The teaser snippet, which spans 1.25 minutes gives a stunning look of Kangana Ranaut in the flying suits. The movie is expected to fill with a patriotic flavour as the teaser is described by RSVP movies as, “she is ready to take off, for the love of her nation kyunki agar Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi! [If you touch India, she will not leave you”].

Bollywood has already marked its spirit and competence to explore the less attempted genre of ariel action thrillers. It was on the Independence Day this year, the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starring Fighter unveiled their motion poster and promised an engaging patriotic ariel action thriller featuring the story of Indian Air Force officers.

Fighter is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024.

The Kangana Ranaut movie will be India’s first air action film and it also showcases India’s first indigenous fighter jet – Tejas.

Tejas, a Sarvesh Mewara directorial, will be an inspiring saga revolving around the extraordinary life and journey of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot.

“With the motto of ‘Bharat Ko Chhedoge, Toh Chhodenge Nahi’, the makers of Uri are set to bring another ultimate patriotic film!”, noted the producer Ronnie Screwvala while sharing the teaser.

Kangna Amardeep Ranaut is an Indian actress and filmmaker who works primarily in Hindi films. She is majorly known for her strong-willed unconventional women characters in female-led movies. Ms Ranaut so far received four National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards, and has featured six times in Forbes India”s Celebrity 100 list. She was also honoured by the Indian government with Padma Shri, the country”s fourth-highest civilian award.
