“Love Under Construction,” an upcoming web series, explores the plight of Vinod, a man who embarks on a journey to build his dream house, only to face unexpected hurdles.
Starring Neeraj Madhav, Aju Varghese, and Gouri G. Kishan, this Malayalam web series takes viewers on the relatable and emotional journey of an expat.

The trailer for Love Under Construction, on Disney+ Hotstar, shows Neeraj Madhav as Vinod, a middle-class man stuck between his dream of building a house and his romantic relationship.
The story revolves around Vinod, who, after working in the Gulf, returns to Kerala only to face challenges in his personal and family life. The series explores the typical Malayali belief that a home should reflect its owner’s wealth.
Vinod, who is past the age for marriage, meets Gauri (played by Gouri G Kishan), his love interest, while Aju Varghese plays Pappettan, a character with a “boomer vibe” who creates tension between the young couple.

As their families react negatively to the relationship, Vinod faces the difficult choice between his house under construction and his love life.
The series will be available in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, and is set for release on February 28, 2025.
The show also stars Anand Manmadhan, Ann Saleem, Ganga Meera, Kiran Peethambaran, Manju Sree Nair, and Saheer Mohammed.
The production team includes Director Vishnu G Raghav, Producers M. Renjith, and Avantika Renjith (Executive Producer). The cinematography is by Ajay David Kachappilly, with music by Gopi Sundar, editing by Arju Benn, and art direction by Boban.
Makeup was done by Rasheed Pattanam, sound mixing by M R Rajakrishnan, and costumes were designed by Divya Joby. The production controller is Dixon Poduthas, and the trailer was created by Mahesh Bhuvanend.
