Finally, it’s the day to witness the curious case of detective Dominic on screens. Yes, the most-awaited comedy action thriller of superstar Mammootty in the Malayalam directorial debut of Gautham Vasudev Menon, Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse, hit theatres today, January 23.

As per the trailer, the story opens to ‘Dominic Detecting Agency’ and the quest for the owner of a missing ladies’ purse. What starts as a simple case of a missing purse becomes a two-man missing case and a potential murder.
Touted to be an action thriller, Mammootty’s character sketched by GVM seems to be a fresh take on the genre, as the star seems to play a Sherlock-style character with a fun vibe.
The exciting investigation story has been written by Dr. Neeraj Rajan and Dr. Suresh Rajan and thrillingly executed by director GVM. On the technical front, GVM has retained his previous collaborators, including his regular editor Anthony, cinematographer Vishnu Dev, one of the DOPs of Dhruva Natchathiram, and composer Darbuka Siva, known for his work in the director’s 2019 film Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
