MT Vasudevan Nair's Anthology 'Manorathangal': Trailer To Release Today

The wait is finally over. The trailer for the much-awaited MT Vasudevan Nair anthology will revealed on Monday, on the occasion of the writer’s birthday. Titled Manorathangal, the series has held as one of the most prestigious projects, celebrating the works of Jnanpith Award-winning writer MT Vasudevan Nair.

As per the reports, the trailer will unveiled at a star-studded event in Kochi. And also, the event will give further updates regarding the project, including its release date.

Though the project initially planned to stream on Netflix, the platform backed out due to creative differences, and currently it will release on ZEE5.

The series started filming in 2021. It is based on nine short stories by veteran writer, including Abhayam Thedi, Olavum Theeravum, Kadugannawa Oru Yathra, Vilpana, Swargam Thurakkunna Samayam and Shilalikhitangal.

Manorathangal boasts a star-studded cast, such as Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Kamal Haasan. The series also features Biju Menon, Fahadh Faasil, Indrajith Sukumaran, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Asif Ali, Madhoo, Vineeth, Surabhi Lakshmi, Ann Augustine, and others in significant roles.

Reportedly, the stories have been helmed by directors including Priyadarshan, Santhosh Sivan, Ranjith, and Jayaraj.
