Here comes a delightful update for the Mammootty fans, as the makers of the recent blockbuster Turbo are going to release the film on the OTT platform.

Following the announcement of Turbo‘s OTT debut, the makers have pinpointed the date for the audience to mark their calendars. Mammootty’s blockbuster has garnered Rs 70.1 crore with its theatrical run so far. And now the makers have unveiled that the movie will reach be available on Sony Liv from August 9.

The makers have scheduled the film to premiere on Sony LIV, where the film is to provide multiple narrative experiences to the audience in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. Mammootty’s Turbo released on May 23. With a massive pre-ticket sale and audience engagement in theaters, the action flick reached heights. And the makers are set to finally release the movie on OTT, delivering a mass-action visual treat to the fans.

The film marks Mammootty and Vysakh’s third collaboration after Pokkiri Raja and its sequel, Madhura Raja. On the technical side, Vishnu Sharma has wielded the lens of the film, while Shameer Muhammed in charge of the editing department. The film is backed by Mammootty’s home production banner, Mammootty Kampany, and distributed by his son Dulqar Salmaan’s production house, Wayfarer Films.

Apart from the star-studded cast, Christo Xavier’s musical compositions complement the film’s narrative, creating a captivating audio-visual experience for audiences.

Meanwhile, Mammootty has already embarked on his next cinematic venture under his production house, with the Tamil actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon. The director’s Malayalam debut has commenced filming. The movie also features actors Gokul Suresh, Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum-fame Viji Venkatesh in pivotal roles. Mammootty also has the action flick Bazooka in the pipeline.
