Turbo Breaking Records With Late Night Extra Shows

Megastar Mammootty’s Turbo has been breaking records ans the movie turned out as an instant hit among the audience. Taking the theatres by storm, extra late-night shows were screened all over Kerala on day one, according to the makers.

As the mass entertainer of Mammootty”s Turbo has set the cinemas ablaze, the movie is now on track to break the records. With the combustion of both action and comedy, the movie has already driven its audience crazy, which led to the screening of about 224 extra late-night shows on its first day creating a record for the movie.

As per the post released by Mammootty’s production company on their Instagram account “Mammootty kampany”, the movie had made a record as it had 224 extra late-night shows than the planned ones. Followed by the list of theatres, the post reads “Record-breaking 224 Late Night Extra Shows In Kerala On Day 1 For Turbo, Thank you all”

Across the state, extra shows were planned than the scheduled ones reflecting the enthusiastic response of the audience. More than 40 extra shows were planned in Ernakulam district,  22 screenings were planned in Thiruvananthapuram district. Kozhikode and Malappuram district hosted more than 50 extra late-night screenings of the movie.

Turbo narrates the story of Turbo Jose, a jeep driver along with the essence of action comedy. It is directed by Vysak and produced by Mammootty himself under his production house Mammootty Kampany with the screenplay by Mithun Manuel Thomas. This fifth production of the Mamooty Kampany was distributed by Warefarer Films and internationally by Truth Global Film.

This movie has Mammooty as the lead, alongside Kannada actor Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil in significant roles. The mass action sequences are masterfully crafted by Vietnam fighters as Christopher Xavier and the team scoring the background music. This action comedy entertainer reunites Mammootty and Vysak after the blockbusters Pokkiri Raja and Madhura Raja.
