Netflix Scores 120 Nominations At The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards For The 8th Year In A Row
The Television Academy has unveiled the nominations for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, and Netflix has emerged as a frontrunner with an impressive 120 nominations across 44 titles, marking yet another landmark year for the streaming giant.
Netflix’s sweeping presence spans 14 of the 20 program categories, including a strong showing in Limited Series, securing 3 of the 5 slots, and a near-total dominance in Variety Series (Pre-Recorded) with 5 of the 6 nominations.
This year’s honours underline not just the platform’s prolific output, but its dedication to championing bold storytelling, diverse voices, and genre-defying narratives.

Leading the charge is the emotionally resonant Adolescence, with 13 nominations, followed by Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (11) and Black Mirror (10), which has re-entered the Limited Series category following format changes.
In a notable milestone for animated content, Love, Death + Robots earned its first nomination in the Outstanding Animated Program category, after multiple wins in Short Form Animation. Meanwhile, Arcane continues to build Netflix’s legacy in prestige animation.
The nominations also shine a spotlight on new and emerging talent. This marks the first-ever Emmy nods for Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Stephen Graham, and Cooper Koch in lead acting categories, alongside supporting actor nods for Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Tom Segura, and others. At just 15, Owen Cooper (Adolescence) makes Emmy history as the youngest nominee ever in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category.

Another milestone moment: Maya Rudolph becomes the most nominated woman in the Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance category, with her sixth nod for Big Mouth.
From riveting dramas like The Diplomat and genre-bending limited series such as Black Mirror and Sirens, to culturally resonant specials like Beyoncé Bowl and Your Friend, Nate Bargatze, Netflix’s nominations underscore its global vision—to tell stories that matter, and to tell them brilliantly.
