Wedding Bells For Aditya Roy Kapoor Or Sara Ali Khan? The Great Indian Kapil Show Has The Answer
The second episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 on Netflix brought together the glittering ensemble cast of Metro…In Dino, and along with their infectious laughter came some hilariously unexpected revelations.
As Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and director Anurag Basu took the iconic couch, host Kapil Sharma wasted no time diving into playful banter — and a roast that had the audience in splits.
Targeting Aditya Roy Kapur’s string of female co-stars who’ve all tied the knot after working with him, Kapil quipped, “Fitoor mein Katrina, shaadi ho gayi. Sadak 2 mein Alia, shaadi ho gayi. Night Manager mein Sobhita, shaadi ho gayi… Sara, ab tumhari baari hai?”
(“So friends, here’s something interesting—You must’ve noticed, in Fitoor, Aditya worked with Katrina, she got married. In Sadak 2, he worked with Alia, and she got married. In The Night Manager, he worked with Sobhita, and she also got married. So Sara… what’s next?”)
The studio erupted in laughter, and all eyes turned to a smiling Aditya — but it was Sara Ali Khan who seized the moment with a flawless comeback. Without missing a beat, she responded: “Maine Ranveer ke saath kaam kiya, uski shaadi ho gayi. Varun, Vikrant, Vicky — sab ki shaadi ho gayi. Toh actually, bachna toh Aditya ko chahiye!”
(“I worked with Ranveer, he got married. Varun got married. Vikrant — married. Vicky — married. So actually, it’s Adi who should be careful!”)
Cue laughter, applause, and even a stunned reaction from Kapil himself, who acknowledged, “UNO reverse card, well played!”
