As Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is running successfully and continues to break box office collection records, fans are curious to know whether a second part is on the cards. Actor Sanya Malhotra, in her recent interview with Pinkvilla, hopes that director Atlee and Sha Rukh Khan make an extended version of the film and make her part of it.
In her chat with Pinkvilla, she shared her joy in working on the film and its resounding success. When she was asked whether there is an extended cut of the movie, she responded that people have asked this question before, and she said, “And that shows how much people love the film and are invested in all of us.” She said that is the beauty of Jawan; people are watching it again since it gives “so much dopamine and happiness.”
The Jawan actress continued: “I would, as an audience, like to see an extended version as well, and I hope they come out of it.” Then she further added, “If not that, I hope they make Jawan 2 and cast me in it.”
In the sensational blockbuster, Malhotra played the important role of Dr. Eeram, one of the six soldiers in SRK’s girl gang. The others include Priya Mani Raj, Aaliyah Qureishi, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girja Oak, and Lehar Khan. The Jawan’s stellar star cast involves Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and a special appearance by Deepika Padukone.
In the interview, she detailed her acting process in the film, how he manifested working with Mr. Khan, and the acting suggestions he gave the actor for improving a scene. Malhotra, who made her debut with the Amir Khan starrer Dangal, acted in movies like Badhaai Ho, Pagglait, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, and Kathal. Her upcoming movies include the Vicky Kaushal starrer, Sam Bahadur, and the remake of The Great Indian Kitchen (Malayalam).
