Pics: Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Diwali Preparations With Family
Indian actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently dropped some adorable pictures of her family, along with husband Saif Ali Khan and two children, during the final Diwali preparations. Bollywood is all set to celebrate Diwali on November 12 and Ms Khan is not exempted. In the photographs, the family, especially the children are busy with doing Rangoli.
Diwali is a major festival in North India, and is also known as Deepavali or Divali. It is the festival of light and symbolises the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Doing Rangoli is a usual practice of the festivities, and is a customary practice that signifies the victory of virtue over vice. It also denotes a welcoming practice for Goddess Lakshmi.
In the pictures posted by Kareena Kapoor Khan on Instagram, she is seen sitting with her two cute boys, on the floor, assisting children on doing Rangoli. There are a few Rangoli designs with heart symbol are seen drawn on the floor also. Saif Ali Khan is also visible, standing at corner with an expression, both of his hands wide open.
“Aiyoooo when the family decides to do Rangoli…or Holi…no idea …but what matters is we had fun…”, wrote Ms Khan on caption. “#Let the festivities begin #love and laughter to everyone”, she added. In the second picture, the younger son of the couple is seen playing with the colour powders. He is seen sitting on the floor and mixing up yellow, blue, and pink with his hands.
